This charming pair of antique German parrot figurines dates to approximately the early 20th century, likely circa 1900-1930s. Cast in metal and finished with colorful cold-painted decoration, each bird features wonderfully detailed feathers, expressive glass-like eyes, and vibrant shades of red, blue, yellow, and warm gold.
They both retain the impressed “GERMANY” country-of-origin mark underneath.
The pair retains plenty of original character, including expected patina wear, patina and surface imperfections from age. Please review photographs.
