About Gay Ol’ Time

Hi, I’m Glenn McBride, and I’ve always had a passion for things with a little history, character, and maybe even a touch of weirdness.

For nearly 10 years, my husband, Andrew Fullerton, and I have been buying, refurbishing, curating, and selling antiques. For many of those years, we rented a booth in an antique mall, where we discovered how much we loved finding forgotten treasures, giving them new life, and passing them along to people who appreciated them just as much as we did.

Then 2020 happened.

When COVID brought much of the world to a standstill, I was working as a registered nurse and needed a creative outlet outside of healthcare. During quarantine, I decided to teach myself the art of stained glass. What started as something therapeutic to keep my hands and mind busy quickly became another passion.

Before I knew it, stained glass had taken center stage, and our antique business took a bit of a back seat. Over the years, my focus has bounced between old treasures and creating new ones, but my love for both never went away.

And that’s how Gay Ol’ Time came to be.

Today, we’re bringing all of those passions back together in one place: stained glass, antiques, and oddities - some handmade, some found, some restored, and some that are just too damn interesting to leave behind.

We believe the best things have character. They don’t have to be perfect, brand new, or mass-produced. Sometimes they’re a little old. Sometimes they’re a little odd.

And hopefully, they’ll bring you a Gay Ol’ Time.
